Crate and Barrel’s modern, affordable sister CB2 is opening its door in Toronto this weekend, replacing the purple monster Big Bop and ending its long reign over the Bathurst and Queen corner. IKEA should be worried – a peek at CB2′s website confirms their pretty stuff could rival IKEA’s stronghold on Toronto’s student market. And it’s much, much closer!
Of course, I couldn’t be happier. We’re moving (finally!) to the area next week and I could use a few things…
A. Type 39″ Clock, $199; B. Roundabout rug, starting at $349; C. Liquid round yellow bowl, $54.95; D. Signal floor lamp, $329; E. Cage fuel pendant lamp, $169; F. Naxos dinnerware, starting at $4.95; G. 3-prong red coat rack, $79.95; H. Posh barware, starting at $3.50; I. Knitted graphite pouf; $99.95; J. Contact stool, $149; K.
