Before & After: Grey Gardens.

A few weeks ago I posted on the hilarious 1975 documentary Grey Gardens. HBO is airing it’s film version tomorrow evening at 8pm, starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.
The New York Times released some beautiful before & after photographs of the gardens as they are today. Sally Quinn and her husband Benjamin Bradlee bought the property in 1979 and restored the gardens to their original beauty.

Sunset 2009.
April 6, 2009Last night, I watched my first Summer sunset of 2009. I find myself in sunny Arizona for work this week- which is why I’ve been quite M.I.A in the last few days, or week. The desert in April is nothing like you would imagine; it’s actually quite lush, and the temperature is perfect.
These were taken about 5 minutes apart.
