October 26, 2009I picked up Ivanka Trump’s book The Trump Card while at the airport this morning- I read non-stop from Miami to Washington D.C.! I have to admit, I’m a huge Ivanka Trump fan- She’s gorgeous, ambitious and incredibly smart.
And to top it off, she married Jared Kushner (equally ambitious, Jared is the New York Observer’s owner!) in this beautiful Vera Wang gown- I love the lace neckline.

Cooking: Pumpkin Pie.
October 12, 2009Yesterday, I attempted Anna Olson’s Perfect Pumpkin Pie for the bf’s Thanksgiving dinner. Success! Though I should mention my pretty Emile Henry ruffled pie dish required me to cook the pie for longer then the necessary 40 minutes (it’s deep dish!)- thus, my pie didn’t quite set how I would have liked it. Next Year!
