I hope you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween! A good friend is hosting a party at her loft, so I’ll be eating lot’s of her homemade goodies.
Halloween, à la Martha, of course!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays- perhaps a close second to Christmas (I’m a sucker for bake goods and carols!) My bestie lent me the perfect black wig for my Mia Wallace costume, which I’ll be pairing up with a few other things.
What are you for Halloween this year?

In the world of dessert table design, no one quite matches Amy Atlas‘ style and eye for detail. Her Halloween table looks so incredibly yummy!

I picked up Ivanka Trump’s book The Trump Card while at the airport this morning- I read non-stop from Miami to Washington D.C.! I have to admit, I’m a huge Ivanka Trump fan- She’s gorgeous, ambitious and incredibly smart.
And to top it off, she married Jared Kushner (equally ambitious, Jared is the New York Observer’s owner!) in this beautiful Vera Wang gown- I love the lace neckline.

The bf went to New York earlier this month and picked up these lovely bamboo wallpaper samples. The pictures really don’t do them justice- they’re slightly embossed, and soft to the touch.
Visit Farrow & Ball in New York.

I’m back on the road this Thursday- and I couldn’t be more excited! Oh, how I’ve missed the airport chaos, the small town grub, and the smell of clean hotel rooms. First stop, Miami Beach!
Sequined silk strappy top; Juicy Couture.
Samantha wool cigarette pants; Miachel Kors. (They’re cropped!)
Urania feather and leather sandals; Givenchy.
Ombré paillette-embellished clutch; Miu Miu.
In the world of chic blogs (and I say chic, not chick!), Joanna Goddard is somewhat of a Queen Bee. Thousands tune into her Cup of Jo blog and read her e-column Smitten. Last August, Joanna married and sought out some of the best people to help make her wedding special. Here’s a sneak peak below… But visit her blog for more!

Yesterday, I attempted Anna Olson’s Perfect Pumpkin Pie for the bf’s Thanksgiving dinner. Success! Though I should mention my pretty Emile Henry ruffled pie dish required me to cook the pie for longer then the necessary 40 minutes (it’s deep dish!)- thus, my pie didn’t quite set how I would have liked it. Next Year!
Happy Thanksgiving! xo
