I spent last week on set with a very talented art department who graciously taught me a little more about illustrator. I then devoted hours designing a New Year’s Eve invitation for the party I’m hosting (stay tuned!) and now I’m turning my recipes into pretty illustrated cards… I’m hooked!
Aren’t these gorgeous? I bought my grandmother the fifth one for Christmas. I’d love to frame each month and display them in my office (when I have one!)

I have a fond memory of watching a rerun of the 2008 Victoria’s Secret runway show in a Barcelona bar this Summer. Me, four martinis, and my VS ladies strutting their stuff! That’s the thing with women in Barcelona, you can’t help but fall in love with them, their confidence is exhilarating.

My parents were never ones who fled south for the holidays (more like skiing vacations!)- but I have a feeling that may change as they grow older. As I peruse the 2010 Resort Collection, I’m hopeful that day will come soon… But I’ll still love the snowy nights at home by the fire.
