It’s hard to believe these photographs belong to nineteen year old Joey Lawrence, especially when you factor in the fact that he was only seventeen when he took them! His eye for detail and raw emotion is amazing- And I can’t help but wonder how the hell he got access to photograph this Zulu tribe, or the Holy men who rarely leave their caves.
There’s a lot on the horizon for Joey Lawrence, and much more then the commercial Twilight gig he’s done! I’ve been sworn to secrecy, but I assure you, it won’t disappoint. In the meantime, check out his Street series- If you’re a Toronto native, you might see some familiar faces.
