I’ve every intention of spending my birthday at the Art Gallery of Ontario this afternoon, followed by a lovely dinner in the St. Lawrence Market with loved ones.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays- perhaps a close second to Christmas (I’m a sucker for bake goods and carols!) My bestie lent me the perfect black wig for my Mia Wallace costume, which I’ll be pairing up with a few other things.
What are you for Halloween this year?

I have long wavy-straight hair. The kind that easily takes to the curling iron or straightener, but never looks quite right au naturel. For reasons I’m unsure of, I’ve been contemplating reducing the amount of time I spend on my hair each morning by getting a perm. The idea is to wake up, shower, apply a crème product to my new big-curl perm, and head to work. Thus, reducing my morning routine to a mere twenty minutes, as opposed to forty.
What I want is a cross between Gisele and Gwyneth, every day, without the effort.

But who am I kidding? Those forty minutes each morning are treasured me times- A self-reflective start to my day.

Rarely do I doubt peaceful songs; like the ones sung by Keren Ann. But tonight, I can’t trust the weather or my instincts; I’m at a loss. I feel like I’ve been here before, and I’m not so sure I liked it.
vitamin D, please.
