Je t’aime, Chicago.

I spent last weekend in Chicago and had the most wonderful time. Like Toronto, Chicago has a lakefront that spans across the city, except it’s done a far better job with its urban planning. You won’t find an ugly beachfront here, or glass towers that look identical… Even the condos have an architectural touch to them!

For some culture, the Art Institute of Chicago is one of my favourite spots in the city. When the bf and I visited a few years back I was so excited to see Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks, and the infamous American Gothic by painter Grant Wood. But there’s so much more to see, it’s most definitely worth a visit!

Aussie Cottage Getaway

Days like today I’d do anything to be somewhere warm on vacation. Even a cabin somewhere in nature would suffice, like this beautiful, quaint Australian cottage. The White House is located in Daylesford, an old gold-rush town about 115KM north-west of Melbourne. Today, the Daylesford-Hepburn region is best known for its mineral spas, accounting for 80% of Australia’s mineral water springs. Sounds like the perfect spot to relax!

Suitcase: A Hawaiian Holiday.

I can’t believe how quickly the Holidays have arrived. I’m even a little ashamed to admit that I’ve skipped everything festive this season. It’s been a rather chaotic Autumn and to be frank, I’m just grateful to escape to Paradise come Boxing Day! The thought of a beach has me splurging on a few Springlike additions – including some sporty items. The bf and I have planned an active few weeks, though lazy afternoons reading sound wonderful too. Where Am I?

[Okay, so maybe Big Ben gives it away!]

It’s been a whirlwind few weeks, and I’m excitedly calling London home for the next few months! I was offered a wonderful opportunity to work alongside two very talented documentary filmmakers -And so I’ve packed my belongings, left my home, and crossed the pond for a new experience.

As Helen Keller once said, life is either a daring adventure or nothing. So here I am… And I’m taking you with me.
