Today’s crisp weather is a sure sign that fall is well underway, which means warm clothing and accessories are necessary. And since the fine line between want and need is now blurred I might splurge on a few of these items below… Because really, who can resist a sequined mini!?
My biggest (and most expensive) purchase this season will be a new winter coat. I’ve had my eye on the Babaton pearce wool coat for quite some time, though I’d prefer it if it had a belt. I’ve also started thinking about holiday party wear and love H&M’s black shoulder-bearing dress – it helps that it’s only $70!

Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season to shop, and I’m anxious to get my hands on a few new items: black leather boots, wine colored cords, a cream skirt and a few soft sweaters to name a few. The Miller sisters’ Twenty8Twelve Fall collection is enticing; I can already see a few of the pieces fitting in nicely with my current Fall wardrobe! And yes, mine is also filled with black clothes – the story of any TV/film producer’s wardrobe.
Have you visited Anthropologie lately? I love their Indian inspired collection. The bright colours and breezy fabrics are the perfect match for Toronto’s humid summers!
I love the whimsical look of Anthropologie’s wedding chapter BHLDN. They’ve just recently added a new decor section filled with pretty adornments and keepsakes. Be sure to check out their full tabletop collection - I especially fancy the knotty pine treat pedestal!
Have you peeked at J. Crew’s Spring 2011 lookbook yet? I’m loving the colourful shorts and pastel tops. I may just need to squeeze in some shopping time when I visit Washington for work next month!
I’m swooning over Steven Alan‘s Spring 2011 collection. Warm weather, bicycles, picnics in the park… Only forty-seven more days until Spring!
