I can’t believe how quickly the Holidays have arrived. I’m even a little ashamed to admit that I’ve skipped everything festive this season. It’s been a rather chaotic Autumn and to be frank, I’m just grateful to escape to Paradise come Boxing Day! The thought of a beach has me splurging on a few Springlike additions – including some sporty items. The bf and I have planned an active few weeks, though lazy afternoons reading sound wonderful too. What are your holiday plans? x

I’ve just discovered my neighborhood pub, the Havelock Tavern! A close friend stressed the importance of finding a local, as the Brits call it. Fortunately, mine is right down the street and features an excellent menu and drink selection. I’ve got every intention of spending a big part of this weekend curled up in a booth reading a book! My colleague Abbie has kindly lent me Wolf Hall, a lengthy account of Thomas Cromwell’s rise and fall (I’m a sucker for anything from the Tudor dynasty!) Now if only I could be wearing that pair of boots below…

{1. Silk-blend sweater by Vince; 2. Wool and silk fringed scarf by Alexander McQueen; 3. Alexa leather bag by Mulberry; 4. Magner’s Cider! 5. Ava low-rise straight-leg jeans by Citizens of Humanity; 6. Chrono 42-20 stainless steel watch by Nixon; 7. Inspiration and Ideas Panama Notebook by Smythe; 8. Flat leather boots by Chloé.}

I took a different route home this evening. Working in Soho means having to walk through Oxford Street, or worse, Carnaby Street! In an attempt to curb my spending I altered my path to Regent Street… And there it was, the gorgeous 3-storey Anthropologie. I couldn’t help but drool over the Fall collection: rich neutrals, soft fabrics, and such pretty details.
